Referring FAQs

1.  Who is eligible to participate?	Top of Page
All registered members of FoodFleetXchange, both Fleet Pros and Suppliers are eligible to participate. No purchase is necessary to participate. Alliance partners, FoodFleetXchange staff, and our families are not eligible.
2.  How many new members can I refer?	Top of Page
You may refer as many new members you want without spamming. In other words, you must know the person you are referring. We will not accept referrals that were generated from group email addresses or email mailing lists.
3.  How do I get credit for the referral?	Top of Page
To get credit for a referral, the new member must either follow the link contained within your referral email or enter your referral code (also in that email) when registering. You will not get credit for referring someone who is already a member or who registered as the result of a referral from a different member.
4.  How do I ensure the privacy of my referral?	Top of Page
We will only send your referral your invitation to join. We will not add their name to our prospect email list.
5.  How do I enter the Refer New Member weekly contest?	Top of Page
You are automatically entered in our weekly $50 drawing as soon as one of your referrals becomes a registered member and properly identifies you as the member who referred them. You are then entered in every subsequent weekly contest that follows.
6.  What are my chances of winning a weekly drawing?	Top of Page
The chance of winning a our weekly drawing is determined by how many total new members have been referred divided by how many of your members you have successfully referred.
7.  How will I know if I've won the weekly drawing?	Top of Page
We will announce the weekly winner on the main referral page every Friday. We will send the winner their $50 Webcertificate on the following Monday.
8.  How do I win if one of the new members I referred wins a weekly FoodFleetXchange contest?	Top of Page
When we award the daily FoodFleetXchange contests (best answer, question, product review, and comment), we will check to see if another member referred that winning member to the community. If you were the one that referred them, we will send you a $5 Webcertificate at the same time that we send the contest winner their $20 Webcertificate
